According to the calculator I can eat 1200 calories a day and lose 2lb a week - sounds just about doable. Can eat lots of veg which I love.
Or I can Dukan and get the sane - also sounds good (6 days 'attack' phase, 227 cruise phase - 4 stone lighter) - would probably suit me as carbs bloat me, did Atkins 13 years ago but didn't enjoy ketosis, felt hungry even with unlimited food. It did work though.
Personally having done both I'd say do 1200 a day but stick to lean protein, veggies, some fruit, pulses, low fat dairy. Dukan ok but I miss veggies too much on protien days for it to work for me long term. I lost weight better doing that than actual dukan as eating all the dairy (lots) on dukan didn't help weight loss.
