It took me around 5-6 months BUT I was limiting calories to 1200 a day (1400 until I hit 11 stone) and reduced carbs further once I hit 10 stone, and went to the gym 3x a week (and really pushed myself for 75 mins) and did other exercise eg shred or EA sport active on wii on non gym days. Was 12 stone 5, now 8 stone 11 (was size 10 at around 9 stone 3) I am 5 foot 4 inches. Lost 2lbs consistently each week.
So it depends, if the 3 healthy meals a day are large then you might never get there.
Depends how committed you are. I'm trying to achieve the same but have given myself a year. Started size 16-18 am currently a 14 after dropping nearly a stone. This has taken me about 3 months (so slowly) as I dont exercise excessivly, plus I like a night out now and then
hi also lost fairly quick - 11.10 (5ft 1 May 2010- size 14 but probably 16 but fooling myself) reached goal end Oct 10 (8st 10lb) stable since then down 4lb and back up to 8st 10lb never above fairly little effort aside from realising still need to exercise and have changed the way I eat. Now going for last 7lb to get rid of little tummy fat. Fairly fit size 10 thou at times size 8 - feels great and no don't feel like still on diet - but tend to eat very in routine mon-fri and then not have routine weekend so maybe still being controlling
My original goal weight was 9 5. I got there in March, and I thought that my diet was going so well that I may as well keep on going, reached 9 stone in mid April, then basically have lost more since then as like my new WOE, as I have loads of energy, look good and am no longer plagued by IBS. I am doing MFP and I am adding extra calories, gradually, but still loosing around 1/2 pound a week. I guess I need to add more calories still, my new WOE is not hard work for me!
