Hope it's OK that I've started this new thread, but the old one is now full! Not sure if my entry went on the old one, but anyhoo - let's keep going people! Here's to eating tasty healthy food, finding and sticking with exercise we enjoy and getting fitter, stronger & hopefully slimmer! xx

Thanks for starting the new thread Knotty. Your day out yesterday sounds lovely. I've never thought of going to Roast for breakfast but they seem quite good for that. Enjoy your walk.

Karma good luck with the floor.

My legs are aching today! I had a blip yeterday as dh bought me a huge thorntons easter egg with chocs too. I ate quite a few (hey, it was Saturday and I had been running!) but I'm not intending to eat anymore. I'm going to put the chocs at the back of the fridge somewhere and hope they keep for a few weeks. The kids can finish off the egg.

Nothing planned today. Will see how the day unravels.

Have a good day everyone.

Hi all,

Just checking in. The kids are up to their necks in chocolate and I am doing my best to resist. My dad is ill and so will be helping me to do the floor tomorrow, therefore I am forced to sit on my sofa and watch DVDs this morning Smile.

If I can drag my DC away from their chocolate, I'd quite like to go for a walk by the river later. The weather here is lovely, but my DC have a new Xbox, so am not certain of my chances in persuading them to go out today.

Am making chicken soup for dinner and a salad of some kind for lunch.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day

I wonder if I can get up and out for a 7.15am spinning class tomorrow morning Hmm

Morning! Shaxx, did you make your early class? Seriously impressed if you did Smile! Karma, hope you got out for your walk. Had a lovely walk yesterday, through lots of bluebell woods, and stopped for a pub lunch on the way home. DS & I shared some ribs and salad, but I let DP and DS share all the chips! Had my hot & sour soup last night and a little bit of chocolate, so hopefully I wasn't too over my allowance! Going to do L3 Shred in about half an hour. Not sure what to have for lunch yet, maybe ryvitas and something? Then we've got salmon & potato bake for tea later. Have a good one xx

Ha! No chance on a bank holiday Grin
However, I will be going a bit later.

I've been having mostly bbq food with salad over the last few days. No bread but a little vegetable rice so I don't think I've been doing too badly.

Today I'm a bit more organised and we'll be having prawn & spinach curry and rice for dinner and a chickpea & couscous salad for lunch.

Good morning.

We spent lots of time out doors yesterday, which was good because it stopped me from sitting at home and eating lots of chocolate. I did have some, but accounted for them so am quite pleased.

Today I am making roast beef (but will eat mine with salad rather than roast potatoes). Will have eggs for breakfast and maybe soup for lunch.

Might even go on my cross trainer later Smile

Have a good day everyone

Just got back from a sweaty spin class! I looked like I'd been swimming and forgotten to dry myself off Blush

Hi Cyb Smile I feel like I'm firmly in the zone at the moment. We should put barbed wire around it so we can't escape. We can add some alarms and mad dogs too for extra measure Grin

Karma - get yerself on that cross trainer today! Smile

Bugger and Balls!

I have messed up this afternoon. Was really good all day, but made the classic mistake of not eating lunch, so was starving by dinner time. Dh opened a bottle of wine and I had a huuuuge glass. Being the first drink I've had in 2 months it went straight to my head, so I stopped caring about calories and had a bloody great slab of chocolate to go with it!

Bugger and Balls!

Bugger & balls from me too Karma.

I had a rather large G & T (it was slimline!!) and then hit the chocolate. On the bright side there's not much chocolate left in the house Blush

Morning! Come on Karma and JAM, get back behind that barbed wire Smile! Put yesterday behind you - Easter's difficult if you're a chocolate lover and have kids, you can end up surrounded by the stuff. Good job from my point of view that there isn't a cheese based festival Grin. Just done 6W6P and am a ball of sweat. Mind you the weather is a lot cooler so I can go back to having soup for lunch which is the easy option and filling. We've got this for tea tonight, talking of cheese! Have a good day everyone xx

Your tea looks lovely knotty. Will have to try that one.

Am back on the wagon. Did my cross trainer this morning and had ryvitas with a little peanut butter for breakfast. Lunch will be soup.

On the bright side, my pig out yesterday has taken away any desire to eat chocolate today, which is just as well because there is still tonnes of it in the house!

I miss G & T justaminute. I bet it was lovely!

justaminute · 26/04/2011 12:32

Karma - the G&T was lovely thank you. Only 60 calories for a single measure. Just a shame it led to a chocolate munch.

I've put myself back in the barbed wire zone. I've been munching on celery & carrot sticks this morning. Pilchard salad for lunch and chicken stirfry for tonight. Dcs are out with the gps today so I might attempt a double shred when I get home, then again I might sit down with a cuppa..hmmm choices, choices!!

Hello ladies hope you have all had a good Easter, I have had a lovely one and spent alot of family time BUT I have had 5 bad days, some worse then others but all bad in some form.
Never mind onwards and upwards (or downwards in this case) back on the plan tomorrow and I will be an angel for the last 2 days of the week - not holding out much hope for a loss or even a STS this week!

Morning. Hi LadyBuzz! JAM, did you double Shred? . I've just done 4 circuits of BFBM. Do not like standing mountain climbers, or scissor kick squat wotnames. Still, it's done. Soup for lunch today and have yet to decide on tea - need to do our mealplan after my shower .

Had good day yesterday. Stayed off the chocolate, so am pleased.

I did go out shopping for my DD though and spent lots of money on pretty dresses and sandals, so am now too poor to buy sweets Smile

Hi all. Didn't eat any choc eggs over Easter however was staying with family so meals prepared for us-lots of wheat, sugar and puddings etc. Was too weak to resist.

We did go on a 17 mile bike ride on Easter Sunday and on Monday I managed a 6k run. However, I've done something to my hip-am in quite a bit of discomfort. Looks like the 10k run in May is going to be knocked on the head for meSad. I'm off the the doctors in half an hour.

I'm not quite back in the zone but am definitely thinking more about what I'm eating and have always got the thought of the weigh-in in the back of my mind.

justamin, how are you doing?

Shaxx, can I have some of your willpower .

Wow, come back from holiday and fine a whole new thread! Hello all - hope you've all had a good easter and are finding your way back to the zone now. Iluv - sorry to hear about your hip - hope the doctor can help and give you pain relief!

Had a lovely sunny holiday in Lanzarote where ate and dranks lots and now back in UK, and back in our house, so am sure all the hoicking around of boxes, cleaning and dusting going on is going to help undo some of the damage from the holiday - though probably nowhere near enough for Friday's weigh in. Off to the gym in a bit to try to get back into the swing of exercising regularly - only managed a couple of 5k runs while on holiday.

Knotty ? I had every intention to do a double shred but my body wouldn?t let me. I?ve progressed to using 2.5 kg weights and it hurts. On level 1 circuit 3 when you have to do star jumps after the weights my arms are so relieved to be weight free they fly up into the air of their own accord.

Iluv ?I had a chocolate blow out on Monday but was really good yesterday and feeling like today will be a good day. I?m munching through carrot sticks again today ? I might turn a pale shade of orange by Friday Smile. Ouch to your hip pain, I hope it isn?t anything too serious. Well done on the 6 K run and 17 mile bike ride . It?s been nearly 3 weeks since I went for a run, I must get back into it...

Woops cross post with Dinky. Welcome back. Glad you had a good time. Your ?only managed a couple of 5k runs while on holiday.? comment gave me a Shock face! It?s a damn sight more than I did in Wales and it was nowhere near as hot as I imagine Lanzarote was. You have such dedication to the zone. Smile

iluvcake, hope your hip is OK and the doctor was helpful. JAM, lol at your arms Grin! I'm with you re: Dinky's comment - I am planning on taking Jillian with us on holiday, but 20 mins leaping about in front of a DVD is nothing compared to a 5k Blush. And in bloody hot Lanzarote! Good on you though Dinky!

Morning everyone! Have done Davina Super Pump just to mix things up a bit! Definitely not as hard as Jillian though. Just had a salmon sushi roll thing for lunch, and we've got pizza & salad for tea as DS has a friend for a sleepover. Am baking today - carrot cake & mini jam tarts. I will be sensible.....

Morning all.
My hard work this week has paid off - 3lb off - yipee and phew! I need to keep the momentum up now. Having said that I'm stepping out of the zone today. I love weddings so we are going to have a champagne tea party this pm. Cake, scones and bubbly - mmmm. Will get back to it tomorrow. On the subject of weddings where has our bride to be gone? thinbride I hope everything is OK - you know where we are if you need us.

Well done justaminute 3lb is excellent. Hope you enjoy your tea party this afternoon.

Weighed myself this morning and am 11st 0.4. I seem to fluctuate between this and 11.2 and despair of ever getting below 11st. Have been on my cross trainer this morning, because I know that I have to address the exercise side of things.

On the bright side, I am eating less chocolate than ever before and am eating a more balanced diet.

Hope you all enjoy your day off today and have a good weekend.
