(7 Posts)We were supposed to get married on October 3rd 2020 - back in July we postponed to March 6th 2021. With the increase in cases and tightening of restrictions again, is anyone with an early 2021 date considering postponing again?
We were March 2020, Sept 2020 and then moved to March 2020 back in June. Having doubts about March date but doubt we will get a date next year now as everyone has moved 😟
Sorry moved to March 2021!
Sorry to hear you've had to change twice! So you're sticking with March 2021 for now? We're trying to come up with a contingency plan for 30 people but it's so hard!
Sticking for now but may change... the thought of such a small wedding just sounds so far from what we wanted. Original day guests around 120. Could live with 65 if I take it to the bare minimum. Don't want there to be no dancing at night though! Just no idea when (if ever!) we will get back to that?
I know! We have a BYOB venue so I imagine we will go ahead with a 30 person wedding (not the vibe we were after tbh) and then have a party at a later date with the booze. No idea when that will be though, events for 120 seem so far away
Agreed. A BYOB venue sounds fab!
Thinking we may have no choice but to go ahead as I think the venue and many others will be booked up throughout next year to try and get everyone's postponed weddings in. Also worry our venue won't survive this at all as weddings are likely their main source of income. It's really sad all round for all suppliers and couples 😭
