Just after ideas really, who did/ are you getting gifts for? Do they get presented during speeches?
I'm thinking
Parents of bride
Parents of groom (mum&step dad, and dad)
Bridesmaids
Best man

Not having any flower girls/ushers

Is big bunches of flowers okay for both mum's or something better like a personalised thing?

Assuming you're the bride....

Traditionally I think flowers for mothers, nothing for fathers, necklace/bracelet for bridesmaid, tankard or cuff links for best man.

When DH and I got married we didn't buy anything for either set of parents. It didn't occur to us, we were skint, and DH's family would have had to take it back on the train (2 trains) and the underground).

Dh daughters have both got married in the last few years, he received a hip flask for one and cuff links for the other. They were on his place at the top table. Not sure what the other parents received and he was very surprised as not expecting anything.

We've bought cufflinks for my dad, chocolates for both mothers (DP' father has sadly passed away), wine for usher and best man, personalised compact mirror for bridesmaid and chocolates/fancy biscuits for other people helping. Going to give them out during the speeches. Flowers wouldn't work well for us due to travel and car space. They're nicely presented in reusable fabric gift bags so I think will be enough. Will find out in 3 weeks!

We did a necklace for my MIL and my mum
A pocket watch for my FIL and a pen knife for my step father (probably sounds a bit odd but he's a jack of all trades and loves being able to fix anything on the spot)
Earrings for my bridesmaid
And whisky with a nice glass for the two best men.

We did bouquets for the mums, mugs with 'Father of the bride/groom' for the fathers and photo frames for the adult bridesmaids. We did a specific personal present for the best man as he lived on a boat and didn't have room for stuff. Presented them during DH's speech, was 90% of his speech!!

Personalised charm for my mum, personalised necklace for his, nothing for dads. Best men - chocolate and personalised beer glasses. Bridesmaids - flowers and jewellery (to wear with dress)

For mums instead of just flowers, what about a 'flower subscription'. Bloom and Wild do the letterbox flowers which I've bought for people loads, always lovely. They do a service where you buy 6 months worth and they get a bouquet a month. You could always present along with a bunch on the day.
