(9 Posts)Hi
Me and my fiancé have been engaged for nearly a year now, we really struggle to book anything in advance (holidays etc) because he is in the forces and goes away a lot.
We're not interested in spending a fortune and having a 'big day' and are considering just going to Vegas in a few months time and getting married just the two of us.
Has anybody ever just eloped to Vegas? How did you organise/arrange it? Was it relatively easy to get married there?
Thanks

Here you go, looks dead easy just apply and book! Sounds fun.
I did and two of my friends were also married in Vegas. Mine was very low key, no dress, no flowers, no photographs and incredibly easy to sort out. Friends went for full weddings with dresses, bridesmaids etc but it was still less hassle than arranging everything over here would have been. Congratulations and good luck
We did it 2 weeks ago! Bloody brilliant. Arranged it all from here, was so laid back and relaxed but also an amazing ceremony. Exactly what we wanted. Any questions please just ask!
This was our venue - their rooftop gazebo. www.702wedding.com
I didn't elope but visited Vegas on honeymoon.
The little white chapel is gorgeous in the MGM hotel/casino. It reminded me of a medieval chapel. I said to DH, that if we hadn't have been married I would have loved to have for married there.
Little Chapel of the West....just by the famous LV sign. Walk in, pay the fee, they'll marry you the same day
I got married in Vegas the first time. Booked everything through a travel agent. From deciding to book to it being booked took less than 24 hours.
I got married in Vegas in 2012, it was so easy to organize. Make sure you get your wedding license online. I got married at the little chapel of the west and had a photographer for about $200. We hired a limo while we were there to take us from the hotel to the chapel and we had a lovely meal afterwards at the top of the Eiffel tower. It was such a lovely day and we only had my parents with us.
