What shoes are people planning to wear, particularly if they'll be visible? I've got my dress - it's ivory, very plain, but I'm adding a wide lace and pearl patterned piece on ivory ribbon, and a short veil (please excuse the bad photos!). Pearl necklace and earrings. All very ivory. I'm stuck on the shoes though, and they will be visible. I can't wear high heels as I have trouble walking anyway, but can maybe get away with low ones as I'll use my scooter most of the time. Will these look wrong, am I better going for plain ivory ballet pumps, at least for the formal stuff and photos? Seems so boring to be top to toe ivory, I'm no good at this stuff though!! There will be a vague lilac colour scheme to the wedding (did i mention I'm not very good at this stuff?!).

I suggest Rainbow Club (I think you can get them in John Lewis). Lots of options with regard to the heel and you can have a strap. They can also be dyed afterwards.
PS love the dress and belt!

Forgot to say they are really comfy!

Have a look at Irregular Choice. They have lots of flats or very low heels and are lovely.

Rainbow club are comfortable. As a side note Next have them for half price on their clearance website.
I had to have a size bigger. X

Whatever you want! I forced myself into heels and switched to flats during photos as I hate them. I had ivory lacy ballet pumps (Sainsbury's if I remember correctly). But you could have a statement colour - my friend had doc martens custom painted!

I'd go for something much more delicate. Ballet pumps or kitten heels.

Those shoes are awful, sorry OP!

Thanks all, I'll have a look at rainbow club and irregular choice.

Happy to be told they're awful DexyMidnight, thanks. Honest feedback is good (although not about the dress please, as I like it)
