Would you wear this as a wedding dress?

It’s technically a bridesmaids dress but I love it.

We aren’t planning a huge wedding at all, no sit down meal etc just a registry office ceremony with close family and friends followed by a party afterwards.

Do you think this dress would obviously look like a bridesmaids dress?

Would you wear this as a wedding dress?

It’s absolutely beautiful. It’d only look bridemaidy if you had other women dressed similarly stood next to you I think.

Thank you for all your opinions, I’m just hoping it fits and looks as good on in RL as it does in my head Grin

It’s lovely; wear what you feel good in.

It's absolutely gorgeous. Very elegant.

My wedding dress was a bridesmaid dress and it was so much easier to buy, try on, fix, and wear on the day than a big dress.

It wouldn't suit me at all, but I think it's beautiful! Assuming you're not top heavy?... I wouldn't have thought it would be flattering in that case.

I honestly do think it's lovely though.

tequila I’m not top heavy at all but hate the tops of my arms so hopefully this will suit my upper body well

I don't much like the way the model is wearing it but it could be gorgeous on (with good posture)

I don't think it looks like a bridesmaid dress: they are not usually as jewelled/ornate as that. However it also doesn't look like a wedding dress, as in from a shop that sells veils and tiaras and meringues with long trains. It would be lovely to wear as a bride and it would look to me like you chose a gorgeous evening non-bridal wedding dress. Just in case that matters to you. I'd say go for it
