Would you plan wedding sooner or hold off ?

DP and I are starting to plan our wedding. I gave birth 5 months ago and still have 2 dress sizes to lose, and despite trying hard, its seemingly quite stubborn to shift.

Would you book the wedding for 2019 to give enough time to have lost the weight or would you be planning it sooner and not worrying so much about the weight?

I'm not sure anyone can answer that for you!
Depends how much you care about looking a bit fatter on the day/in your pictures?

Hi OP, i’m guessing your post is in relation to looking your best in your dress? My wedding is next year and last week I got my dress. I’ve been engaged for 6 months and imagined that by now I would be in full swing of weight loss (i’m not – quelle surprise!). However, now i’ve got the dress, I know i’ll have to go back for alterations and fittings in mid-Feb, ergo I have a deadline by which I need to have lost/toned up. I say go search for your perfect dress sooner, when you find it you may find it boosts your motivation. Congrats and good luck!
