(5 Posts)I have a large extended family. In a nutshell, I've invited all my aunts and uncles and their kids apart from one aunt and her grown up kids because, well, they're dickheads. My wedding, my choice. But it's caused the biggest ruckus and giving me such a headache to the point I'm mentally cancelling the whole thing.
Wwyd? Stick to your guns because they're the rudest, most socially inept people you've ever met who will moan about the food, get embarrassingly drunk and not talk to anyone. Or just invite them for the sake of peace saving?
Baring in mind the wedding is 5 weeks away and the seating plan has to be sent off pronto.
Stick to your guns. I did and don't regret it.
The ruckus has already been caused and if you back down now the bad blood will still be there. Stick to your guns.
Mad families always cause fights over weddings, if it wasn't this they would have caused drama over something else.
I was bullied into inviting an aunt and uncle I have nothing to do with and really didn't want there due to a number of reasons. I HATE that they are in my video and photos. Really wish I'd been strong enough to say no.
Don't do what I did. Stick to your guns, it's your day!
Oh god, no, don't invite them! They're pissed off now and if you invite them they will come and ruin it for you.
