Budget ideally £500 or less and I have already looked in Asos, Debenhams, John Lewis...!It has to be online as I can't travel.
Ideally tea dress length, but I can have it cut.
Thanks!!

What size are you after? Needle and Thread is worth a look.

Oh, sorry, meant to link to this too, that's why I was asking your size.

I got a Dessy bridesmaid dress, which was knee length and very non fussy. It was lace over a light coffee colour. They are not too expensive and there is a big range.

THis is also rather lovely but maybe not white enough.

Would you consider a skirt and top?

I am wearing a skirt and top for my upcoming wedding, I love it. It's bridal without being OTT and princessy

Thanks for all the ideas!
I had looked at Monsoon and Phase Eight too. And I've seen that Ted Baker dress which I like but it might be a bit too 60's... I am not very young and am afraid it'd make me look older?
And I love some of your suggestions like the top, but I have big boobs and not sure if it would look good .
I will look carefully to all the links :)

Oh I am size 14 usually but I was told I might have to order one or two sizes bigger to fit my boobs and then fix the dress around me by a dressmaker

It is rather lovely, isn't it. Would almost seem a shame to have it shortened but I think it'd work rather well.

acat one of the loveliest dresses I've seen is a (sadly discontinued) Kitty and Dulcie one. Think it was called Cockney Rebel.

I got my wedding dress (tea length) from Fur Coat No Knickers - they were amazing! Dress was £1500 plus alterations. They closed last year as they could no longer compete with cheaper factory made alternatives and are selling their left over stock on eBay. It is directly from them and there are some amazing bargains! Just type fur coat no knickers into eBay and they will come up. They do their dresses in larger sizes too - so there are some you could adjust and size down. I'm sure you could contact them and they'd be really helpful.

tigerdog that didn't work...

I am going to meassure myself and very possibly order the Marchessa. As it is not white I might leave it long.
Can I be cheecky and ask which shoes would go with it?? Bearing in mind I might cut it tea lenghth...
I just have no idea, no very good at style stuff! I am thinking silver?

I wore a lace tea length dress from Minna for my wedding. They've now rebranded by the looks of things and the tea length dresses are here www.indiebrides.co.uk/shop-indiebride?category=Bridal
