We got married last year, and due to finances we simply got a nice album and printed off the pictures ourselves and put it together
(Our photos were taken for free by a close friend of my dh- he is a professional photographer, and did our pictures as our wedding present, so no way would I have got him to put an album together as well).
Anyway inside the cover is a page, where you are meant to put the names of the bride and groom and the date. It's one if them things we never got round to doing, with the baby coming and everything else. We know someone who has lovely fancy handwriting, who has agreed to do it for us. But there's one thing we are not sure of.
It says something along the lines of:
Celebrating the wedding of... And..., followed by: Date....
How would we do it? Would we put my maiden surname, my married surname, or keep it simple and just use our first names? (I took my husband's surname after the wedding). (We didn't have a guest book so can't go off that)
For example:
Celebrating the wedding of
Jane Jones
&
Bill Smith, OR:
Jane Smith
&
Bill Smith, OR:
Jane
&
Bill.
Thank you, I hope that makes sense to everyone.
