Making the mums a suitcase

Just wanted to share my idea!
I am in the process of making my parents and future MIL suitcases for their hotel rooms. I really want them to know that we are thinking of them and that they are important to the day.
I have bought some mini suitcases from the Works and am adding stuff for them to make their stay more comfortable on the night of our wedding. They will be left on their beds so are there when everyone checks into their rooms.
So far they contain-
Personalised handkerchiefs for the mums
Father of the bride socks for DF
Mini bottle of bubbly
champagne glasses - with wine glass charms saying MoB / FoB
Mini pack of tissues
bottled water
biscuits
Paracetamol
mini sewing kit with safety pins!
plasters
Personalised do not disturb door hanger

Have I missed anything??? What would you add?

How lovely!

I once travelled thousands of miles to a dear friend's wedding. When i booked into my b&b she had made a welcome pack for me and the children. Everything in it was so thoughtful, and really made me feel welcome and valued. So many weddings blur into one, but i always remember that.

Thank you Michelle, I know that in previous family weddings both mums have felt like a bit of an afterthought. Both of them have been so lovely and haven't caused any pre-wedding drama yet.
How sweet of you friend!
It really is the little touches in my opinion.

Ooh love this idea!
Maybe some fancy smelly type bits for a nice shower/bath (depending on the hotel facilities)

Flip flops or some of those roll up flats?

How sentimental are they? Would they like a little card made out of a cute picture of them and you/your DH?

Nice chocolates to go with the bubbly?

Are you doing corsages for the mob/g maybe a keep sake pin for those.

Don't know if your doing make up / hair for the mother's but what about a mini touch up kit, Bobby pins etc.

Maybe a card from both of you just saying what they mean to you both

Blister plasters id say are a big help too.

For the fathers what about a personalised glass and a mini bottle of their favourite drink / mixer. And or cigars if they are into smoking them (yes I know it's old fashioned, and I know smoking is bad, but some fathers do still enjoy a cigar on big occassions like your daughter or son getting married) .

It's a lovely idea btw. Congratulations hope you have an amazing day.

Chocolates!! yes will add those. We are putting in a card with a personal message for each of them as well adding the pictures is a good idea (maybe a baby and mother pic)
Flip flops is a good idea, however I am not sure if they would use them i might get some of those spa slippers though.
