oh, and I've not done anything about those 20 kilos I wanted to loose.

I'm a size 16/18, 6ft tall with big boobs, hip, tummy, bum... I'm not wearing a traditional wedding dress, but at this rate I won't be wearing anything at all.

Where oh where shall I start looking for a dress?!

Gah! I hate shopping sad

Lots of nice evening dresses here. Plus etc. It depends what you want to spend.
There's wedding dresses too

There are loads of dresses on the House of Fraser website, too.

What kind of dress are you thinking of?

Loads of time yet !
Something like this evening maxi dress? Or if you do want white they have a bridal section but no meringues !

I like this from Debenhams
Looks marginally bridal without being bridal.

But I'd start by taking a day off and walking the shops without the weekend pressure. See what you look like in different dresses and have a good feel for what you're looking for.

Try here, great for the fuller figure.

I bought my dress the week before my wedding, years ago mind so no use now but it was cream, strapless from Monsoon and passed for a wedding dress. Good news is that the shops and online have summer-y stuff in which is more likely to be wedding-y than winter stuff.

Have you tried Oxfam bridal? they have online store, free returns etc, worth a peek here

Do you have shoes? Best get cracking on those too if not and congrats, hope you have a lovely day
