Can anyone recommend a florist that specialises in silk flowers?

So have recently learnt that fresh flowers will not be available for our wedding (28 Dec) the bank holidays fall in such away that the last flower auction in Holland is the 23rd and the flowers won't last that long.

So we need to look at silk, we aren't having flower centrepieces so it's just bouquets, button holes etc

Can anyone recommend any sites that deal solely in silk flower arrangements?

Doing themselves is not an option and still want to try and have something really pretty and professional looking

I follow a page on Facebook called Somerset Paper Flowers - obviously they're made from paper! They are really stunning and can be either realistic ones or obviously paper ones (eg made from music manuscript). Might be worth a look?

No strictly speaking what you've asked for, but the great British florist is my go to florist these days because they only use British flowers.

As such they may be able to help you with a winter wedding as they don't use the Holland markets. Only flowers grown in Britain.

I've had several things from them, including a gorgeous door wreath last Christmas and a table arrangement also during the winter

Look up Pumpkin and Pye, she makes the most amazing bouquets in real flowers, silk flowers or brooches and buttons. Just gorgeous.

I used someone in Tyne and Wear called Stem Ginger as I had exactly the same problem getting married on 2nd Jan. The flowers were beautiful and people had no idea they weren't real. The lady, Lesley was such a lovely lady and very helpful. Some types of flowers have better fakes than others so it's always best to get advice

We had silks as no florist would do our wedding flowers (Mother's Day clash). We used www.am-flowers.co.uk in Wigan. They were absolutely amazing. So beautiful and very well put together. The ladies are lovely too.
