Dream wedding or Dream date? WWYD?

We had planned to get married on 3rd May 2012. We have had that date in mind for months. We want to have our reception on the steam train here, DP volunteers on there, loads of our friends do and it is how we met. But it's very expensive. So we have a problem. We could put it back a year and be able to afford it, which I really really don't want to do.

Or we could keep the date and have the reception somewhere else?

I have no idea what to do at all and I'm slightly fed up now.

I would have a look at what other reception venues are around and then make your mind up, you might find somewhere else you can afford that you love?
