Mywonderfulstar Wed 20-Jun-18 17:34:27

I looked at my weather app before and couldn’t believe it!

hugoagogo Wed 20-Jun-18 17:34:47

Oh so sick of this weather.sad

OhYouBadBadKitten Wed 20-Jun-18 17:34:52

Yes, it does smile theres a heatwave thread going too. Stock up on icecreams this weekend!

SimonBridges Wed 20-Jun-18 17:37:25

We need some rain here in the East. It’s not rained properly for weeks.

anotherangel2 Wed 20-Jun-18 17:40:40

Not that like for the North East

TokyoSushi Wed 20-Jun-18 17:46:52

Oh fab, I'll go over to the heatwave thread! #imisssnowatch

TokyoSushi Wed 20-Jun-18 17:49:06

Oh, they're all just arguing over whether it's going to be a heatwave, I might stay here on this happy thread! grin

Elementtree Wed 20-Jun-18 17:51:05

Even the North East is getting good weather next week. We just don't have to look longingly at other parts of the map and just imagine.

OhYouBadBadKitten Wed 20-Jun-18 18:21:06

They've not started again have they? I might have to post the official definition again. hmm

ShowOfHands Wed 20-Jun-18 18:22:57

My poor garden. We need rain (also in East Anglia).

SimonBridges Wed 20-Jun-18 18:23:01

What is the official definition?

Trialsmum Wed 20-Jun-18 18:23:23

Yes I’m so happy! I’m even more Northern than you though so it’s not quite going to hit 30 ☹️.

CourtneyLovely Wed 20-Jun-18 18:23:54

You live where I live too - and that's too hot for me!

sleeveface Wed 20-Jun-18 18:24:49

This is my forecast (down south) actually dreading it because I am heavily pregnant! God help us all grin

OhYouBadBadKitten Wed 20-Jun-18 18:25:55

Official definition: when the daily maximum temperature of more than five consecutive days exceeds the average maximum temperature by 5 °C, the normal period being 1961-1990".

SimonBridges Wed 20-Jun-18 18:43:31

Please just a little rain one day!

BlackeyedSusan Thu 21-Jun-18 18:27:12

I prefer this thread too. the other was a bit, erm lively for weather.

GloriaSmud Fri 22-Jun-18 11:34:35

Blackeyed ~ it was getting a bit 'snippy' and almost 'AIBU-ish' over there!

Netweather's thoughts on next weeks weather.

LighthouseSouth Fri 22-Jun-18 18:45:22

They said 22 for my postcode today, I reckon 26.

I haven't been on the Tube today so judgement not skewiff from that.

GloriaSmud Sat 23-Jun-18 08:03:28

Heatwave on the way.

dudsville Sat 23-Jun-18 08:07:51

We've just planned to keep our curtains closed all week and to try sleeping in different parts of the house since our bedroom, which is great all other times of the year, is the hottest room in the house!
