To complement the Summer weather thread.

Tomorrow could see some thunderstorms in places across England, but by tomorrow evening, the main area of risk appears to be in the central southern areas (revised forecast from earlier) , where frequent lightning and small hail could form in any storms that evolve.

I think it'll be interesting which places end up having thunderstorms. I have a feeling they'll be a bit like the snow showers a few weeks ago, where once you get one, others will follow after it.

I love a bit of lightning but one of our DC is like a scared rabbit, reverts to hiding under the duvet with headphones and music on.

Think I saw this mapping on here first, always like to look it up for stormy weather...

It's all looking a bit violent over the channel. Has anyone heard anything on the south coast?

So far it looks like it's coming straight for me!

But, knowing my luck, it'll slide just a bit to the east and I'll miss out on all the excitement, yet again.

Isle of Wight and a cracker going on here. I'm glad I didn't get around to any watering in the garden earlier.

I hate thunder and lighting - it's the only thing I am really scared of ☹️ and DH is on nights tonight. I hope it doesn't come London

We're just south of bath and have had a thunderstorm that was very sudden (blue sky, storm, back to blue sky). It was pretty cool.

Thunder, lightning and torrential rain in Portsmouth. I'm currently stuck in the pub until it stops, what a shame....
