I see the papers are going a little bonkers at the prospect of pollution and saharan dust hitting us tomorrow.
It does look very mild again, temps getting up to just about the mid teens. A big high pressure sits to our south over north africa, bringing the sand and the warmth. As passing cold front brings some rain later tomorrow, the sand will be deposited onto surfaces, probably most noticeable on cars.
It happened to me in NE Italy when a Saharan dustcloud deposited itself on us overnight. Not even rain, just sand. It was like walking in a Martian landscape and was about 2mm thick. The silicone holding in the panes of glass in my windows never recovered!
