Snow Webcams

For those that like the cold, here’s a list ‘snowcams’ from mostly Europe and the UK, showing (hopefully!) some snowy scenes!
(Should add that the idea for this came from 'WeatherScientific' (a weather forum) ~ hope they don't mind me copying their idea!)

Rovaniemi in Finland (Christmas tree went up a few weeks ago and looks very pretty.)
Cairngorm Ski Resort
IceHotel in Sweden
Icelandic webcams
Ski resorts around the world
Glencoe
A huge number of Norwegian webcams
Finse ~ Norway’s highest railway station
Swedish webcams

These last two are often in complete darkness over the winter months but usually have lots of snow:
Spitzbergen
Longyearbyen, Norway

So if there’s no snow this winter, we can remind ourselves what other countries get to enjoy (or not!)
Please add your own!

I've recently moved back to the UK from Moldova and all my friends there have on facebook that it's snowing today. I hated the winter while we were there but now I'm a little bit sad that we won't get any proper snow here! Especially at Christmas.

Little so far at Glenshee but may be a useful camera to see when Snow does come to the UK.

Thank you to everyone for the excellent websites that have been added (scaevola ~ hadn't come across 'snoweye' before.)

Perhaps should also add (although not a snowcam) uksnowmap for if/when it does start snowing in the UK this winter!

Slight covering of snow on the Scottish webcams this morning.
I've just found Finse have a live webcam here (have to get past an advert first.) Looking proper snowy there this morning!

Is this the place to link to the Adelie penguin colony in Antarctica, Gloria? (When you refresh the page, it defaults to Palmer Station & you have to pick the Torgerson Island Penguin camera tab.) It refreshes every 15 seconds and due to the near 24 hours' daylight at the moment, you can enjoy the penguins at any time of day or night.

If it's got snow, it is (the right place), DustBunny. Penguins are a bonus!

Rovaniemi is looking even more festive with a good covering of snow on the Christmas tree. There's a fairly good covering showing on the glencoe webcams as well at the moment.
