Not getting cold yet! (weather)

Although it feels a bit cool at the moment, it looks like we might reach quite warm temps next week, especially in the south (perhaps scraping into the low 20's). Big proviso though - the last warm spell was spoiled by too much moisture bringing in fog and low cloud, rather than the hoped for sun for some of us. Sadly this could happen again. But the potential is there for some rather pleasant weather.

Thunder storm here (close to Eastbourne, Sussex). Quite violent for half an hour or so & now died away to rumbles.

Not very autumnal.

I really don't like it, if it's going to be warm can it be nice rather then damp and muggy. I cant dry my laundry but too warm to put on heating.

warm and dry or cold please.

Fed up over here

Very worrying when it is this warm in October, global warming maybe??

I agree with the majority, don't mind the warmth if the sun is with it or the rain if the cold is with it, but i hate this rain with warmth. Wearing a coat in this heat at 27 wks pregnant to avoid getting wet is nasty. I can't wait for the cold!

Hi magi we also had a thunder storm here last night, south east kent.
Was very violent, the hallway actually lit up with the lightning!

Me too pumpkin it looks very odd wearing a thick parka with a fur hood, in this weather. Cant be arsed with a separate raincoat.

I actually WANT to wear my thick winter coat. Means I can do the school run in a tatty pyjama T shirt. Just pull the coat on and away we trot....!

stars - you might get a bit of rain, especially Monday, but actually its looking pretty good :) pleasant temps, little in the way of wind. Not too bad at all for October in N. Wales.

ew, it's too warm and muggy. My Tesco delivery lady moaned she was sweating it felt so warm. Couldn't be bothered to take off my thermals so just put my velour trousers on over them and my thin summer jacket over the thermal vestGrin. It's warmer out walking than sitting than indoors. 19 out 21 in.

We have no windSad. Usually a breeze is cooling but sometimes a humid breeze just makes it even more close. We have had it humid all summer and still isConfused. My weeds are enormous just like in the tropicsGrin

Cold & crisp weather is what I'm waiting for. It's the only weather I can actually have straight hair in!

I had a veg box delivered this week digerd (sadly finished most of my homegrown veg). The veg was enormous - I can't actually fit the cavalo nero into the fridge properly (what a first world problem!)
