weather warningsThis has snuck in under my radar! Some of the models really develop this, others not so much but this could be quite a fun little storm with thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong to gale force winds.
You certainly are! This topic will be a good one to keep an eye on then as we get closer!
caravaning at christmas, hardy sole i am
That sounds like rather an exciting camping trip! Is it your last one of the year?
yep was camping in swanage, hammering rain, thunder lightning, flooding, very windy
There are leaves and water blowing horizontally past my window. Thunder and lightning too.
Seems to be more of a snow maker than I thought, GFS wasn't that far off after all!Ruby - yay!
Message withdrawn at poster's request.
Ugh. It sounds nasty outside. Trying to force myself out of bed, but it just doesn't seem worth it.
We have snow here, north Somerset. Some of it settling now...
Well I'm lying in bed with my son snuggled up watching some frankly atrocious weather outside
Sounds like a plan! Much better than having to dry wet dogs!
Was going to take the dogs on a bike ride but I might stay in and watch a movie instead
It does look pretty wet I'm afraid.Perhaps it will sneak itself back into oblivion? But that would upset Ruby's plans!
Is it going to be horrible in London tomorrow morning? I'm going on a walking tour, it's going to be miserable isn't it
I like your style!
Oh yay! Good to be a bearer of glad tidings for once!
Rather slim to none I'm afraid. Unless something very strange happens. Sorry ruby.
Will keep this bumped to be annoying informative.Earlier one or two of the models were showing severe gales for this but they seem to have backed down fortunately, else it would have been a nasty surprise for many.
That's very naught of it fatsatsuma! GFS going for some snow tomorrow.I'm really not convinced tbh! Perhaps some over Salisbury plain and perhaps the tops of the chilterns, if it rains heavily enough.
