As Prince has already told us, 'sometimes it snows in April.' Grin

ok, GFS extends to the th April. No sign of snow on that. Quite the opposite in fact pretty mild, sometimes actually quite warm and sunny by day. Watch out still for pesky night frosts this week.

I forecast a few days of gardening for me Grin

What date is the 'th' of April? (How many beers did you have last night, OYBBK?!)
Actually, I forecast a few days of gardening for me as well! It'll be nice to start some seeds off.

we had light snow on the day ds was born (12th April) but it's not the kind that settles in April (She says confidently!)

last year we had to rearrange our easter walk as too much snow up north so went to the ochils instead and STILL ended up thigh deep in snow!

We did camping on the Isle of Wight a couple or so years ago at Easter and had snow. it was -2C and I wondered as I got ready for bed whether I might actually die of the cold.

Met check has calmed down a little today and just has low temp of 2/3 degrees for 2nd April here in East Anglia.
Met check does seem to veer towards the armagedon side of forecasting.
