When it was -5 or 6 C it felt so pleasant, went out without coats and had snowball fights. Went around the house with nothing on at all

Now it is warmer but wet and feels colder

last night had to turn the the heating up and today sat here in a thick polar neck jumper and above knee high socks, which I got wet takin the rubbish out and couldn't be bothered putting on shoes

t6hey will dry in a bit

oh it's heavenly now it's warm(er) and wet - I'm sure its still not much above 0 - but it's wonderful.

My heating isn't kicking in as often, I'm sat here now without a duvet wrapped round me

bliss

Very true - all damp and shivery making.

When it was frosty the sun would struggle out for a short while most days and it felt brighter

Maybe it is because we live quiet close to the coat that it feels colder or something to do with the old house

It did look brighter but it was still cold Grin I know what you mean about it being damp and miserable though

I very rarely feel the cold but have to say it does deel really damp and miserable despite the temperature being a bit warmer.

I sympathise with OKaren - now that the snow has gone I am popping out to the bin or the car barefoot as usual and it is wet and cold. Yes, I know it's self-inflicted but I cannot be arsed to put shoes on for such a short walk - stupid or what? Blush
