Please take care and only travel if absolutely necessary.

Looks like Edinburgh is being hit again.

Everyone keep safe.

OYSSK, I wasn't sure if you were still about, so thought I would post it to be sure. I hope you don't mind. Smile

lots of snow in Edinburgh - what do you reckon my chances are of getting to Haddington tomorrow?

oooh, looking at how bad it's going to be today, and how long the snow is going to fall far, I personally wouldn't risk it.

Maybe the roads will be better than last time? But with the amount of snow that's going to fall today, I doubt it, sorry.

Chances of nursery being open are probably pretty slim as well

I am gutted.

We wanted to take the boys through to Edinburgh on the train today to see the Christmas markets, ice skating etc. Plus I wanted to get a few last minute presents.

However with the whole area showing as red on the Met Office site it wont be happening.

Any idea what the north east weather will be like this week.

Our DD1 and grandson are travelling (hopefully) from Glasgow to Newcastle on Christmas Eve. What is the forecast for both areas......please?

There's hardly any snow at all up here so hopefully she'll be ok.

Just read your "other" thread, and, I hope this doesnt come across as stalker-esque, but were you at a softplay up here in August with your DD, and your wee girl?

Sorry geordie, DD1 hasn't lived in Glasgow very long, she's recently moved from Wigtownshire, and I've never been to her new place yet.

What made you think it was me?

I chatted (briefly) to a lovely lady who was with her grown-up daughter, toddler grandchild, and also a baby that she was fostering.

She was lovely, and truely inspirational, after reading your thread I wondered whether it might have been you. Grin

Oh I'm sorry it wasn't. DD1's son is 12 though so definatley not me. I'm so looking forward to them coming for Christmas and dreading this weather preventing it.
