When to wean your baby onto solid food? And how to do it? Read (purée-splattered) tips from other Mumsnetters
With the exception of porridge, yoghurt and fromage frais my ds will barely eat anything off of a spoon. He will also not eat anything such as jar or packet babyfood (but never has !)To top it all he's not keen on lumps or anything that doesn't almost disintegrate on him putting it in his mouth.I am getting desperate for ideas of what to give him to eat. Please, does anyone have any ideas ?
cheesy mashed potato (done in a blender for smoothness). I used to also blend, broccoli, carrots or other veg in with potato as well (one at a time). What about semolina? weetabix with warm milk on and left to go soggy.scrambled egg?
Mushed up jacket potato and pesto? My DS is ten months and loves it.
have you tried giving him finger foods? he may just prefer feeding himself. if so you can give him pretty much anything
