weaning confusion...

My daughter is 22 weeks old.Started weaning about two weeks ago. I BF first thing in the morning, at around 10, feed some solids at lunchtime, BF in the afternoon and evening. I am going back to work next week and I am a bit confused on how much milk to give. I am planning to express mornings and at lunchtime, will continue to BF first thing, afternoon and evening. Is it enough to just give solids at lunchtime, or do I need to give milk and solids?
Has anybody dropped the lunchtime feed without expressing at lunchtime and managed to adjust the milk supply so that there is still enough for morning and evening feeds without losing the milk?
When are you actually supposed to drop the milk feeds at certain meal times and exclusively feed solids for those feeds?

I'd stick with giving the milk you are - solids are complementary, rather than primary food at weaning stage, and your daughter is still very wee. We started weaning dd at 26 weeks, and don't think I dropped any milk feeds for quite some time after that - can't remember exactly, I'm afraid.
