Pancakes are good.

Yes, drop scones are a big hit in this house. I always sometimes make them with mashed-up banana and maple syrup as a treat.

Cereals: my DS liked mini Weetabix/Oatibix dry, the weirdo, and loves shredded wheat softened in a bit of milk. I guess you could use juice if you don't want to introduce dairy at this point.

Fruit sticks dipped in yoghurt are good messy fun grin

You could make really, really thick stodgy porridge and see what she does with it. DS wasn't into porridge especially till he worked out how to use a loaded spoon, then it was all systems go and he can't get enough now. He's also recently started dipping his fingers in and feeding himself that way, it's hilarious (he's nearly 11mo).

Mine loves porridge but isn't too fussed about weetabix. You could also try beans on toast - mash the beans onto the toast and then they can hold it.

Porridge pancakes.
Shreddies and wheatbix minis are good
eggy bread (if you can be arsed)

or try doing loaded spoons. Just load and put in front of your lo.

The blw blog has details on porridge pancakes. Site not up at mo.

Basically make porridge thicker and then spread
on a plate to make and pancake and leave to cool then rip off bits for your lo.

Shreddies are good dry. Or at that age I sed to soak in a little bit of milk and then chuck them down in front of dd so they weren't too soggy.

what about crumpets? Why has no-one said crumpets yet?

Dry cereal always good, esp shreddies and cheerios.

Fruit is good too!
