Ideas for supper

My DS is 6 months and has baby cereal or fruit for breakfast and vegetables for lunch. I intend to introduce supper soon and am not sure what to give him. He has also just started having yoghurts. I would appreciate any ideas please.

Sory just realised you may mean dinner and not supper (i.e before bed).

Tonight 6.5 mo DS had beef casserole, broccoli and polenta with strawberries for pud. He generally eats our leftovers from the night before unless we're all home at the right time in which case we eat together.

Homemade fishfingers are a fave. Also anything with gravy on it.

Soups are good - just blend veggies with some low salt stock - pea soup is a favourite with my DS with toast and philadelphia. I have also made potato, cauliflower and broadbean soup. You can make homemade croutons to go in it by frying some bread in olive oil.

I tend to give DS his main meal at lunch so dinner is usually vegetarian with a main carb with some vegetables so toast/pasta/bagel/rice/cous cous.

Thanks for your replies. Has only had purees so far so think we need to be a bit more adventurous with finger food etc. However, he was only 6 mths at the weekend so still feels a bit soon. Not a BLW fan here.
