When to wean your baby onto solid food? And how to do it? Read (purée-splattered) tips from other Mumsnetters
DS2 is breastfed can I give him normal water to drink or do I have to boil it first.
DS2 is 10.5 months and I have never boiled his drinking water and I am sure this was what I was told at the weaning chat with the HV. DS1 is 6 and I boiled water for him up until a year I think (it's a long time ago!)
Oh, he'll be fine. He's a subsequent child. I religiously boiled water for DS1 but no such luxuries for DS2 or DD.Unless you are living in a mud hut in the middle of a 3rd world village.
tap water is fine as a drink from 6 months
Thanks. I am such a lazy mum even boiling a kettle is too much hard work today.
