How much milk does a 14 month old need?

I have a 14 month old who is a really good eater, lovely big brekky, lunch and dinner. But she doesn't drink much milk. Is this important? Or will yogurts/cheese etc make up her calcium needs?

I remember that Annabel Karmel says toddlers need 400ml/14 oz per day - including any milk you use in cooking or on breakfast cereals. I am offering at least this to my 14 month old twins but they spit out lots of their milk drinks (I give them 3 a day) because they find it funny. So who knows how much they are actually getting...

Oh, and should be whole milk (or breast milk) NOT skimmed.
