I know I should excavate the bread maker from glory hole in the kitchen but I am lazy, so end up making scones quite often for piglet as a bread alternative, then I had an eppiheny ( spoilling part off brain not working due to sleep deprivation) the collective wisdom of mumsnet could be used to collate a list of lower salt products. so here gos, pleaseplease join in it takes me forever to to read all the ingredients supermarkets are soo much fun!

mission deli pita breads have 0.6g of salt lower than others which tend to be 1g

brioche cannot remember make but 0.3g plus easy shape for piglet to hold.

Sacla's Char-grilled aubergine pesto has lower salt than the traditional ones (e.g basil) and no cheese.

Great idea - we've just started moving from simple purees and finger foods to things like bread and cereal so I'm suddenly very interested in labels!

Organix rice cakes are salt free

Kallo Organic stock cubes - do very low salt versions of vegetable, chicken and beef stock. Only bought veg so far - no added salt at all unlike other low salt stocks - assume chicken and beef are the same.
