How do I get onto proper food with no teeth?? Callum has been BLW'ed and does ok with bread, rice cakes, cereals, but has to have most foods chopped up finely due to no teeth. I want to get onto proper food..

I didn't think it mattered whether they had teeth or not as their gums are pretty solid and can still chew. I cut up things into reasonable size lumps (not too big, but big enough for DS2 to know what they are) for DS2 to pick up and munch and he's 8 months with just the four front teeth.

Both boys love pasta and risotto with things in. Yesterday, for instance, we had chicken, mushroom and red pepper risotto - it disappeared rapidly
