Takes ages to feed DS - is that normal?

He's 10 months old. Someone I know with a son the same age said it takes five minutes to feed their DS. It takes me at least an hour! He has to be convinced to take every mouthful through a variety of distraction and games. If I let him feed himself he just throws the food on the floor. He does eat but it takes forever.

my ds was the same at that age some babies are just open mouth and take and other babies want to explore the world than eat my ds was interested in anything and everything and took me along time to feed

dont compare its perfectly normal
