What to do when little one won't have dairy?

Hi, my 15 month DD does not drink the required amount of cows milk she should (have tried goats milk as an alternative - makes no difference). Some days she will drink no milk at all. She will have milk in porridge and some food, but refuses anything that has cheese in it. She used to love yogurt but more recently will only have a couple of teaspoons after lunch and supper. She is also not very keen on meat but loves eggs. I'm worried that she is not getting enough calcium or protein.

I do still breast feed 1x a day, but am keen to stop. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Thx

white sauce - can try flavouring it, such as by adding pasley, mixing with tuna (a source of protein). If that is accepted, then you could try adding cheese - small amount at first, then increasing.

Turkey can be worth a try - know you say she's not keen on meat, but if you have not tried using Turkey, worth a shot. Turkey is low far, high protein plus is a source of iron, zinc, phosphorus, potassium and B vitamins.

How about milkshakes? 1 large Banana, plus 1/2 pint milk - liquidise.

Use beans, lentils in dishes such as veg hot-pot to add source of protein.

Is there any peanut allergy history in your family? If not... then you could try smooth peanut butter as that contains protein.

Does she eat pasta? If so, have you tried filled-pasta - perhaps she may eat pasta filled with cheese, fish, turkey etc.

Thanks very much both. Have tried rice pud - no go. Have not tried turkey and like the milkshake idea. She does like lentil soup and I have not tried peanut butter yet. Yes she does love pasta and I sometimes give her pesto which she likes. She does sometimes eat the filled pasta with ricotta and spinache.

Any other ideas out there?
