plain old carrot!!!

carrot with milk at first then carrot with the cooking water then carrot with [insert veg here]

brilliant and simple too!!

vegetable mash

swede in mash

broccoli in mash

ect you get the idea lol

and white fish and veg in mash he loved it

was great knowing he was getting all he needed also

pasta and pesto works every time. but right at the beginning, a finger of steamed carrot.

you do know that you can just hand them bits off your plate, don't you? and if they eat it, great, and if they don't, so what? main thing is to take it easy, they've a lifetime of eating in front of them.

Potato, carrot and parsnip (4oz of each) mashed up together is very sweet and I have not met a dc yet who didnt like it. Freezable too so I used to make it up in batches.

Also, minced beef, swede and onions (which sounds gross) but my ds loved it!

Mash with anything!!!

DD started solids 3 weeks ago - mix of BLW and self fed purees. So far her firm faves are millet porridge (with breast milk) and mashed avocado, which she wolfs down grabbing spoonload after spoonload...

Anabel Karmels butternut squash risotto made ds try to lick the bowl lol!
