Weaning

confused about milk

At 3 and a half months old my baby seemed to be ready for weaning as he was hungry all the time, I changed his formula milk to the hungrier baby variety, he is now 6 months old and I have started weaning. Do I change his milk again to the follow on milk or stick to what he's used to?

Whichever you would prefer.

I used hungry milk till ds was about 9 months old and then switched to follow on as it was cheaper.

no real need for follow. Imo its a bit of a marketing thing

I carried on with formula milk until ds was 15 months.
Never used follow on milk, as didn't see the point of changing. Would give formula for morning and bed times in his bottle and then cow's milk in a sippy cup with his meals.
Think it depends on your routine, allergies and how well they eat.
