My 1 year old got poorly with norovirus recently and since she's had that she's not eating properly during the day. She heaves at the sight of food now. Due to not eating enough during the day she is waking for more milk at night. I keep offering food during the day. What else can I do.

Hello OP, sorry to hear your little one was poorly.
Is she the same with cereal. I used to offer weetabix or porridge before bed time so it kept mine fuller for longer at night.

Yeah everything. That's what we did up until she was poorly and then she just refused to eat food. I think she's remembering being sick so much. It was a truly horrible virus. I got it myself shortly afterwards.

It will settle down given time. The poor wee soul must have felt rotten.

Hiya she's stopped the night feeds now. She's still fussy with food and sometimes heaves at it. Xx

Poor little mite. If it persists into next week it might be worth taking her to the GP and getting them to check her ears and throat, just to make sure they are not aggravating the issue.

Glad she's dropped the night feeds though Smile
