Advice on baby shoving food in his mouth!

My DS loves food. Weaning is going really well. I’m doing a combination of TW and BLW. The only problem is he shoves all of every finger food I give him in his mouth all at once and gags! Is there anything I can do to encourage him not to do this because I’m scared he’s going to choke?!

Give him one by at a time

I do that, sorry, what I meant was he’ll try and shove a whole toast piece in at one time as opposed to gumming it.

My DS did much the same and also got very cross if I gave him tiny bits. I’ve no great advice, just to say he eventually stopped and didn’t choke. I tried to hold off from finger foods for a while which helped a bit.
