I’m a new mum and it’s time to start thinking about weaning! For some it’s home made, for others it’s food lead and for the rest it’s shop bought pouches....from attending a weaning class today there was a discussion on pouches. Whether or not you are into them. I realised just how big the pouches are and how much could be wasted...after reading the back of an Ella’s kitchen food pouch I noticed they could be frozen...Great I thought! But after making my own veg purées up and dividing them into cube ice trays I thought..why not divide the Ella’s fruit purées too, they will go further. So that’s what I have done, not sure if it’s been done before but it will help save barely eaten pouches going in the bin, just thought I would share.
