oooh, just saw this. gill rapley's definitely working on one, i know that the recent publicity got more publishers interested which can only be a good thing. that said, it's not like there will only ever be one book on BLW, i shouldn't think. i imagine there are loads in the works. none from me at the mo, though...

Aitch, can i just say, thank you. i have just read and joined your blog after reading something about on here and i am so pleased. i am currently weaning my 7 mo ds and was stuck in a mashed potato rut. he loves to feed himself and will eat anything i put in front of him (spinach, toast, risotto, melon pieces, pasta etc) but was getting a bit stuck with what to do next for him. you have given me the confidence to just give him a bit of whatever i am having (which i was doing anyway, but pureeing it a bit first)in its true form and not to worry about the potential hazards. its a roast dinner for us all tomorrow and i bet he is going to adore it. he is such a good and confident eater and in am sure it is down to me not worrying about the mess, unlike a lot of my friends, and just giving him the opportunity to get his hands in it.puress have their place maybe in the early stages but as soon as a baby is used to food, then give them food, not mush! brilliant.

What have you got to lose by sending a letter with your web site address to some publishers? Get the writers and artists yearbook, loads of relevant addresses in there. It's ace! I'd love to have a copy of it in my kitchen. Or how about a magazine column, blw diary or somesuch. You're doing all the work anyway on the blog.
Ker-ching!

no no, i didn't write the article. a journo contacted me because of the blog. 'lazy' journalist googling a subject, hem hem... it's the sort of thing that drives MNers (who don't have a clue how the media works) wild with fury.
i keep on expecting a publisher to type the words into a search engine but no luck so far. perhaps a letter writing campaign?

PS, is that really all of my quote? they're shortened it rather, i think i might sound a bit petulant there...
