OK to give to a six month old (in hummus) if no family history of allergies?

i did, certainly. depends on how cautious you want to be, really.

I did too. Used it as a dip/sauce with a squirt of lemon juice with vegetables as well. It's very nutritious, full of protein and calcium, as well as healthy fat.

For nuts I waited till 9 months but seed pastes were used much earlier.

oh yes i was much more weedy about nuts as well. think i waited the year for peanuts. now dd (19mos)can't get enough snacky brazil nuts.
