I'm a mum of 3 but biiiig difference between 2 & 3 so feel like a new mum again. Baby is 6 months old and starting weaning with purées 6wks ago and loving it. But I was recently made to feel guilty by another mum for not BLW my son. Have tried putting finger foods down but he's just not interested. Do I stick with what I'm doing and just try introducing again when he's a bit older or should I push for him to learn to love it so to speak!?

Traditional weaning is using purees alongside finger foods. BLW is giving only finger foods. I would continue as you are but give different sorts of finger food at the same time.

I'm very pro BLW we do it with my dd, aswell as the benefits I think it's also way easier and less faff.
The difference is I'd never make anyone feel bad for doing things differently!
If you're happy going traditional, if it works for you then stick to it.
You said baby is loving it, don't change what you're doing just because someone thinks their way is the only way

I'd continue with giving some purees and also give finger foods alongside - a couple of steamed carrot sticks or broccoli, whilst spoonfeeding veg puree. Also, while you and your older children are eating, he could have a few bits of what they are eating on his high chair tray. He'll probably just play with it to start but he will eventually get the idea and also he will be taking part in family meals which is a good thing too!
