DD3 certainly knows when she is full - or at least had enough of what she is eating.

She starts to spit out her food and if you don't 'listen' to her she tries to pull off her bib.

She is 14m and has been doing it for a few months.

They know when they've had enough, it is just the communication skills in telling you that is lacking, so up to you to be watchful for signs like UCM is talking about.
