Third meal?

Hello all!
Little one has cmpa and severe reflux which he is on neocate milk and 10mg losec mups. So far he’s fine with baby porridge (milk free), sweet potato, mashed white potato (god send!), swede, cauliflower, weetabix.
He is over 6.5 months old, started on solids early then had a bad incident involving avacado so stopped and re started at just under six months (also lack of support before six months from health visitors who gave me a lecture and his feeding nurse isn’t very clued up).
Saw his specialist last week and asked her a few questions but again she wasn’t much help apart from saying to introduce bread from 7 months as I wasn’t sure what age. He’s really enjoying food and eats a lot when I give him breakfast and his tea at around 4pm. I asked about introducing a third meal and specialist said up to me when I do it then said give it another week then introduce.
Anyway, I’m wondering if I should introduce a third meal or instead give some fruit or a milk free yoghurt/custard after his tea? I’m having to introduce one food at a time and give for four days so it is quite a slow process.
Thank you all!

I should add, I’ve been told he needs a minimum of 25 ozs formula daily which he is getting.

@jilted thank you for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately I can’t see the pancakes as I haven’t got a Facebook account. I haven’t tried eggs yet, to be honest I feel a bit nervous! Would I make the scrambled egg with his neocate milk or make just eggs and that’s it, no milk?
Eight months, thank you! I needed some guidance so will hold off until then, it makes sense when you say about not filling them up and making sure he gets enough milk 😊

So sorry about the link, the correct one is here.

If he’s ok with weeabix, you could try him with a bit of bread, or a breadstick and it that’s ok, try him with French toast.

If he’s ok with banana you could try him with with banana ice cream too Smile
