Hi
My baby boy will be 7 months old next week. He has been on solids since 18 weeks. He has silent reflux (medicated) and CMPA (neocate formula) . He has always been a big baby well he was only 7lb 9oz at birth but was 51cm at 2 weeks early. He is now 25lb however is extremely long at 83cm. He is on the 99th.
He is a great little eater but seems to have a lot but isnt really dropping any milk. However when he is full he refuses food/wont open his mouth etc so I have just been letting him lead. Just wondering how much you feed your little ones at this age? I know all babies are different but scared im overfeeding and he is gaining too much because he seems to be getting so heavy!!
Here is an example of what he is having;
6.30am - 4-5oz formula
7.15am - Solids - 1/2 weetabix or 4tbsp baby cereal made with 1-2oz formula
11am - 5- 7oz milk
12.30pm - Solids - 3oz weaning pot of homemade puree (usually veg/meat) and some veggie finger foods which he tends to suck/play with rather than eat! Followed by a tbsp of coconut yoghurt or fruit puree.
3pm - 5-7oz bottle
5pm - Solids - 3oz weaning pot of homemade puree (usually veg/meat) and some finger foods to gnaw!
Dessert - usually a 2oz pot - fruit puree/homemade rice pudding/coconut yoghurt and fruit
7pm - bedtime bottle 6- 8oz
10.30pm - dream feed 8oz
He will sometimes pick at the kiddylicious wafer/veggie sticks too as a snack but again he tends to just play with them rather than actually eat!! He also has water with his meals in a sippy cup, doesnt drink much!
He isnt mobile yet.
Thanks
