how old?

yes, does depend on how old , as milk can still safely be the main source of food for the first year or so

How big are the meals you're giving her? Maybe she's having too much solid food so isn't hungry for her milk.

I'd try cutting down the solids a bit, see if it makes any difference to the amount of milk she has.

Does she have her bottle after her food? Maybe try giving some of her milk first, when she's hungry, and give the solids afterwards or even a bit later on.

well she has her bottle in the morning and then something for breakfast, she then has her lunch at 11.30 but milk first ans she drinks 8oz, 3.30 she has another bottle but has only been drinking 4oz then she has dinner at 5.30 then her last bottle betweeen 6-7 but again has only been drinking 4oz

maybe drop her lunchtime food, and let her have a good milk feed, 7 months is quick to be on 3 meals....no harm in cutting back on some food

from 6 months the minimum recommended milk is 20 ounces - does your lo take this amount between her 4 bottles?

You could try offering less milk at the 11.30am feed which could make her want more at the later feeds - or offer 6 ounces, then food, then the rest of the milk (but dont force it if she refuses the rest)

I am also trying to rejig feeds/solids with ds as he was cutting down his nighttime bottle. Today at 8ish we had morning milk (about 5 ounces) followed by a few spoons of breakfast. At lunch (12ish)he had about 5 ounces again followed by a few spoons of solids. He had a 6 ounce bottle around 3.45pm and some dinner around 5pm. His bedtime bottle was at 7ish and for once he took a decent amount (7ounces). The last couple of nights he has gone to bed on 3 or 4 ounces. Tonight I decided to feed him a little earlier as he is quite tired by the time he normally gets fed i.e. 7.30pm.

He has still been waking for a night feed any time between midnight and 4am but I limit him to 4 ounces so I can try to get him to take more in the day (on the nights I let him take what he wants he then refuses or takes very little on his morning bottle)

Goodness, I have rambled on a bit (must be the vodka!!)
