Weaning and eczema

DS is 4 months, my plan was to start him with a few food tastes at 5months (to give him the experience of flavour) then wean properly at 6 months. He has a bit of eczema so wondering if I should wait until 6months. Any thoughts?

Wait. You've got nothing to gain by starting early and a great deal to lose. Why risk it?

You're totally right actually.. a month early now may lead to months and months of difficulty.

I've read about leaving a 3day gap in between introducing new foods. Does this mean I'd give carrot (for example) for 3 days then add in sweet pot then 3 days after that apple?

Could do if you're really worried but I've no allergy experience so wouldn't want to set you wrong.
(One of the best things about waiting till 6m is they can sit up in a highchair and pick up food in their hands, so it's a lot easier for you! Just cook the veg till it's soft but not mushy and put it on his tray while you have your lunch. Smile )
