When to wean your baby onto solid food? And how to do it? Read (purée-splattered) tips from other Mumsnetters
I finally managed to have some lunch about an hour ago, and had to eat it in 5 minutes flat. My little boy is 5 and a half months (24 weeks). He's so interested in my food now, if he's close enough he will actually snatch it from me or just put his mouth around it (talk about manners 😂) lol. After spending the last half an hour winging and a bottle refusal he's now chilling in front of tipping point. Hoping he will fall asleep 🤞🏼. How has everyone else's afternoon been?
Mine are older now but DD was weaned at 23 weeks when she grabbed a sandwich and stuffed it in her mouth too quickly for me to stop. I took that as she was meeting the signs of readiness
