how to make baby rice with breastmilk, you can't COOK breastmilk, can you?

Going to start 5 month old DS on just a bit of baby rice, followed by a taste of pumpkin and other veg, and wondering, baby rice packet says mix with heated cow's milk ,but don't want to give this.

How do you cook it with breastmilk, in fact can you?

any tips appreciated...

I doesn't need to be cooked, just mixed with milk to the right consistency. Warm up your breast milk as you would if you were going to give in a bottle and mix with the rice. Or, I suppose you could express directly into the bowl with the rice in it and it would be just the right temperature!!

I used to warm it in a bottle and just mix with rice

I squirted it straight into the bowl the first few times then tasted it and thought it was awful (so did DD1) so started on veg instead.

I used to heat up frozen breastmilk no problem

don't worry about food being warm for babies they don't know the difference. i haven't heated up any food for my LO's and they have loved every bit...

cos on packet it said bring cow's milk to the boil, then mix with the rice I thought it was like instant noodles where the liquid has to be hot enough to really dissolve/sort of cook it, if you see what I mean..

WIll have a bit of veg on standby in case he really doesn't like the baby rice, also have some baby buckwheat (no gluten) from Hipp, so that's an alternative,
